The ASLNC requires 40 hours training.
The ASLNC also requires that 75% of your training be taught by a practicing medical malpractice attorney. 
The ASLNC requires state as well as national law as it pertains to medical malpractice.
The ASLNC also highly recommends you choose a program that provides mentoring and working on real cases before you start your career.
